We've been touring a number of sights in England as part of our vacation leading up to Loncon3, the world science fiction convention, which starts tomorrow. One sight I'll highlight here: Bletchley Park, the location of significant codebreaking during World War Two, and one of the first uses of an early electromechanical computer known as the "bombe." Sculpture of Alan Turing, iconic mathematician and computer scientist.
One of several German "Enigma" devices on display.
Some of the new displays in Huts 3 and 6.
