A couple more May books

Two new titles arrived from Subterranean Press, a small publisher with an extensive line of fine books. (Click to enlarge images.)

The Best of Kage Baker is a career retrospective for the late author, which includes several previously uncollected stories. Two of Baker's most famous novellas, "The Empress of Mars" and "The Women of Nell Gywnne's" are not included. Presumably any reader interested in this volume would already have those novellas.

Artist J. K. Potter created the cover and several interior illustrations for Baker's stories, four of which are pictured above.

Winter's Dreams is a collection of previously uncollected Glen Cook stories. Dust jacket illustration by Raymond Swanland.
